SPARTANBURG, S.C. – ETSU forward Danny Barlow has been named the Southern Conference men’s soccer player of the week for all competition Sept. 3 - 9. Barlow scored back-to-back game-winners for the Bucs to earn their first two wins of the season.

ETSU went 2-0 on the weekend, picking up a 1-0 overtime win over Liberty, and a win over previously undefeated Appalachian State, 2-1. The sophomore from Newcastle, England, netted the winning goal against Liberty in the 99th minute on his second shot of the game. Against Appalachian State, he took five shots with three on goal, scoring in the 41st minute off a rebound, helping to knock off the Mountaineers for the second time in his career.

ETSU is back in action against Dayton on Sept. 11 and Lipscomb on Sept. 15.
