The Paladins won two of three doubles matches to score the opening point.  Junior Jake Munns and senior Cameron Green cruised past Jake Faundez and Eduardo Lourido, 6-2, at flight one, and freshmen Ivan Mitric and Drew Singerman held off Aleksandar Petrovic and Hugo Moreira, 7-5, at number three.  The Bulldogs' Rossouw Norval and Justin Ghavami outlasted sophomores Trevor Croyder and Clarke Wilson, 7-6, at flight two.

Furman won four singles points, three in straight sets, for the team victory.  At flight one, Green defeated Faundez, 7-5, 7-5, and Munns came from behind for a 4-6, 6-1, 6-1 victory over Ghavami at flight two.  Mitric topped Lourido, 6-0, 6-4, at number three, and Wilson posted a 6-2, 6-3 advantage versus Moreira at number six.

Samford, which dropped to 8-10 overall and 1-4 in the league with the loss, scored at flights four and five.  Norval downed Singerman, 1-6, 6-4, 6-3, at number four, and Petrovic beat sophomore Jake Bhangdia, 7-5, 6-2, at number five.

Furman (16-6, 4-1 SoCon) will entertain Wofford Wednesday at 3 p.m.  The Paladins will honor seniors Cameron Green and Josh Pistorius in their final home match.
