HIGH POINT, N.C. – High Point University men's lacrosse freshman Asher Nolting has been included in the most recent additions to the Tewaaraton Watch List, the Tewaaraton Foundation announced on Thursday.

Nolting joins Dan Lomas - who made it three times - as the second Panther to be named to the watch list for lacrosse's most distinguished award. He is the only Southern Conference player on the list and is the first freshman is program history to earn the distinction.

The Greenwood Village, Colorado, product leads the SoCon in points and assists and is fourth in goals this season. Similarly, he is second among freshman nationally in points per game (4.70) and assists per game (2.50) and has already amassed the conference's eighth 20-20 season. Nolting has been ultra-consistent, tallying at least three points in all 10 appearances and is one of just four players nationally to score at least three points in 10 straight games this season.

The Tewaaraton Award annually honors the top male and female college lacrosse player in the United States. The selection committees are comprised of premier college coaches and are appointed annually by the Tewaaraton Foundation.

Nolting and the Panthers are back in Vert Stadium on Friday at 7 p.m. to host VMI in a SoCon matchup.
