GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Five Bears set personal records as the Mercer track and field team competed in the 200-meter dash and 5,000-meter run on Thursday at the 2018 Pepsi Florida Relays at Percy Beard Track.
Ania Grzeszczak and Courtney Czerniak ran the 5,000-meter in personal-best times of 17:39.27 and 17:43.36, respectively, to finish 18th and 22nd overall in the 44-woman event. Lauryn Dancy (24.81), Marion Meadows (24.96) and Sydney Campbell (24.99) all set personal records in the 200-meter dash as each cracked the 25-second mark. Six Bears in total competed in the 200-meter.
