SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Campbell’s Andrew Morgan has been named the Southern Conference wrestler of the week for all competition from Nov. 14-20, the league office announced Wednesday.

The Fountain Valley, California, native went a perfect 5-0 this past weekend at 174 pounds at the Navy Classic. He opened the day with a 4-0 decision over Indiana’s Dillon Hoey before pinning Logan Stanley of Ohio. The redshirt junior then went on to beat Bucknell’s Nick Stephani by a 4-3 decision and then earned a 7-3 decision over Brown’s Bryce Rogers to advance to the championship where he topped Edinboro’s Jacob Oliver by a score of 12-6. He was one of two Camels to claims titles on the weekend.

Morgan returns to the mat November 30 and December 1 as they travel to Las Vegas, Nevada, to compete at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational.

Also nominated: Alan Clothier (Appalachian State), Conor Fenn (Davidson), Connor Tolley (Chattanooga) and Neal Richards (VMI).
