U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – The Air Force men’s lacrosse team garnered its second straight top-20 ranking in USILA/Nike Lacrosse Division I Preseason Coaches poll, checking in at No. 17 for the 2018 season.  The ranking is one spot higher than last season’s preseason ranking.

Air Force will see action against three of the preseason top-20 teams in the first two weeks of play; all three of which are in the top 10.  On Jan. 28, Air Force will compete in an exhibition match against No. 6 Notre Dame.  The Falcons will then take on No. 2 Duke in the regular-season opener on Feb. 3, at Duke.  A week later, Feb. 10, Air Force will host No. 4 Denver.

The Falcons' return to action comes in the wake of their second straight SoCon Championship title and third NCAA tournament bid in the last four seasons.
