GREENVILLE, S.C. – Tuesday's opening game of the Southern Conference Baseball Championship presented by Holston Gases at Fluor Field is tentatively scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. Eighth-seeded The Citadel and No. 9 seed VMI had been scheduled to play at 10 a.m. but saw the start of the contest pushed back due to inclement weather.

The winner of the contest advances to the double-elimination portion of the bracket, where it will face No. 1 seed Mercer on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m.
