SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Appalachian State 174-pounder Forrest Przybysz has been named the Southern Conference wrestler of the week for all competition from Dec. 6-12, the league office announced Wednesday.

Przybysz picked up the Mountaineers’ lone win in a 34-3 loss to No. 6 NC State on Sunday, earning a 10-4 decision over the Wolfpack’s Daniel Bullard. The Mountaineers (3-2, 1-0 SoCon) head to Norman, Oklahoma, to take on the 20th-ranked Oklahoma Sooners on Sunday.
