Men Finish 2nd, Women 4th at Carolina Challenge | Results

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Citadel men’s cross country team placed second overall, while the women took fourth at the Carolina Challenge on Saturday.

Michael Lantz led the Bulldogs, placing second individually in the 27-runner, four-team field. The junior set a personal record in the five kilometer race in cross country, finishing in 15 minutes and 41.36 seconds. He bested his finish in 2015 in the same event by more than 30 seconds.  READ MORE

CULLOWHEE, N.C. - For the 10th straight season, the Western Carolina men's and women's cross country programs opened their season at home by hosting the Western Carolina Invitational but for the first time in that span the Catamounts were under the direction of first year head coach Cale McDaniel. Both the men's and women's programs each finished second in their respective races with sophomore Liam Brooks picking up the best individual finish as he placed third in the men's 5K race.  READ MORE
