Mercer Mourns The Passing Of Jibri Bryan

MACON, Ga. – Mercer University Athletics mourns the passing of student-athlete Jibri Bryan.  A candlelight vigil will be held at 9:00 p.m. in Hawkins Arena on Mercer's campus.

Bryan, a sixth-year senior and graduate student from Savannah, Ga., was on track to complete his Masters of Business Administration. Bryan came to Mercer in the fall of 2010 and was a member of the University's nationally recognized men's basketball program.

Bryan was known for his hard work in the community as well as on the court. He was nominated for the Allstate NABC Good Works Team for his community service efforts.
