Wofford at Youngstown State (ESPN3) - 2:00 p.m.

• Wofford advanced to the quarterfinals of the FCS playoffs with a 17-3 win at The Citadel on Saturday. The Terriers will visit Youngstown State on December 10.

• The Terriers have advanced to the national quarterfinals for the first time since 2012.

• The last SoCon team to make the quarterfinals was Chattanooga in 2014.

• The Citadel finished the season with a 10-2 record. The Bulldogs won the league’s regular season championship and advanced to the playoffs for the second consecutive season.

• Chattanooga dropped a 41-36 decision at Sam Houston State on Saturday. The Mocs were in the playoffs for the third consecutive year.

• SoCon teams are 29-19 overall in the quarterfinals of the FCS playoffs.

• The Southern Conference has the most wins (106) and highest winning percentage (.606) in the playoffs of all FCS leagues.

• Seven of the league’s nine teams have appeared in the playoffs at least once.

• SoCon teams are 13-9 against opponents from the Missouri Valley Conference in the playoffs.

• SoCon teams are 12-3 against FCS non-conference opponents in 2016.

• With a win over VMI on November 19, The Citadel finished the confernce season with a perfect 8-0 record. It is the second year in a row the Bulldogs have earned a conference championship as The Citadel also won a share of the league title in 2015.

• Sixteen of the league’s 36 conference games this season were decided by one possession. Since the start of the 2013 season, 54 of 124 (.435) league games have been decided by one possession.

• Southern Conference teams are 12-3 against FCS nonconference opponents in 2016.
