Charlotte, N.C. – David Guthrie Trelek Jones and Robert Anderson all represented UNCG men’s cross country at the Royals Cross Country Challenge hosted by Queens, Friday afternoon. The trio of Spartans competed against local talent from all across the state on the 8,000-meter course at McAlpine Greenway Park in Charlotte, N.C.

Guthrie was the first member of the Blue & Gold’s modified squad. He completed in 26 minutes and 37 seconds while Jones crossed the finish line ten seconds behind him in 26:47.0. Anderson was the third and final Spartan to cross the line.

The men’s and women’s cross country teams return to action October 15, at the Princeton Invitational in Princeton, N.J.
