Women's Soccer 9/29/2015 9:32:00 AM Southern Conference ETSU?s Koren named SoCon Player of the Week SPARTANBURG, S.C. – ETSU forward Simona Koren has been named the Southern Conference women’s soccer player of the week for all competition Sept. 21-27. The selection is made by the league office.Koren scored three goals and added an assist for a seven-point week, leading the Bucs to a 2-0 start to SoCon play.In Friday’s 2-0 win over VMI, Koren scored the eventual game-winner in the 13th minute of play. The Graz, Austria, junior followed that up with two goals and an assist in ETSU’s 3-1 win over UNCG on Sunday, again scoring the Bucs’ first goal in the 13th minute before assisting on Sarah Zadrazil’s eventual game-winner at the 46-minute mark.
