Chattanooga clinched the SoCon regular season title and the No. 1 seed on Sunday, overcoming a 3-1 deficit to Samford in the bottom of the 8th in game two of a doubleheader for the 4-3 victory.

The tournament opens with fourth-seeded Furman taking on fifth-seeded Western Carolina at 10 a.m. on the opening day. The Paladins swept the Catamounts just two weeks ago in the three-game, regular season matchup between the two. The winner of the game will face top-seeded Chattanooga on Thursday at 11:30 a.m.

The No. 2 seed Samford will take on No. 7 seed ETSU at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs took all three games of their regular season matchup against the Bucs, totaling 16 runs in the series.

Mercer earned the No. 3 seed with a win on Sunday. The Bears meet sixth-seeded UNCG in the opening round of the championship at 3 p.m. The two split a doubleheader on April 11 in a rain-shortened series.

The action continues with five games slated for Thursday with the first starting at 9 a.m. and the last scheduled for a 7 p.m. start. The remaining teams will take part in three games on Friday, scheduled for 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m., respectively. All 11 games from the first three days of action can be seen on the SoCon Digital Network.
