Weather Forces Weekend Schedule Changes

UNCG alters weekend baseball schedule

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNCG baseball team’s weekend home series with Princeton has been altered due to a combination of inclement weather and resulting field conditions.

The Spartans and Tigers will now play a doubleheader both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday’s twinbill will start at 1 p.m., while Sunday’s doubleheader will begin at 11 a.m. The teams were originally slated to play Friday at 4 p.m. with a doubleheader Saturday and a single game Sunday.

 

Samford’s weekend schedule altered

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The schedule for the Samford baseball team’s series at Memphis has been altered due to inclement weather.

Games were originally scheduled to be played on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The teams will now play a doubleheader Sunday at 2 p.m. CDT and a single game Monday at 1 p.m.

 

VMI pushes series back one day

LEXINGTON, Va. – After a moderate snowfall of 3-4 inches in the Lexington area Thursday, VMI announced it will push its home baseball opener against Binghamton back to Sunday at 2 p.m. The Keydets will play a doubleheader against the Bearcats that day and then will play a single game against BU on Monday at 1 p.m.
