The Citadel finishes fifth at Cape Fear National Intercollegiate

LELAND, N.C. – Eraina Manor was one of three Citadel golfers to post a top-25 finish after firing a 159 (+15) at the Cape Fear National course to help the Bulldogs cap off the two-day event with a fifth-place showing.

Manor, who notched her program-record seventh top-10 finish after firing rounds of 81 and 78, tied Hannah Craver (Appalachian State) for 10th at the par-72 course that measured 5,940 yards in distance.

The Bulldogs also got a solid outing from Cameron Little (83-78-161, +17), who tied Emily Stinson (Appalachian State) for 14th at the event.

Senior Kellie Anderson (88-81-169, +25) rounded out her weekend in 21st alongside the Mountaineers' Madalyn Davis.

The Citadel card also included the performances of Renata Sucha (93-85-178, +34) and Laura Simpson (118-122-240, +96).

The Bulldogs’ team score of 667 (345-322, +91) placed them fifth and in front of Mercyhurst (376-357-733, +157) in the six-team field. Appalachian State (316-310-626, +50) edged out High Point (319-311-630) and IUPUI (322-310-632) as the top team in the event.

The individual crown went to the Mountaineers' Savanna Wood (74-76-150, +6), who slightly edged the performances by Aneta Abrahamova (IUPUI) (151, +7) and Danielle Fuss (High Point) (154, +10).

The Citadel caps off the regular season on March 21-22 when it heads to Hilton Head, S.C., to participate in the Low Country Intercollegiate.
