TAMPA, Fla. – UNF topped Furman, 4-0, Saturday in the second round of the USF Spring Break Tournament at the USF Varsity Tennis Courts in Tampa, Fla.

The Ospreys picked up wins in the top two doubles contests to clinch the opening point.  Jack Findel-Hawkins and Norbert Nemcsek downed sophomore Adam Steryous and freshman Cameron Green, 6-4, at flight one, and Caio Gomes and Yannick Zuern teamed up to beat junior Ben Horst and senior Jacob Behal, 6-3, at number two.  The flight three match was unfinished.

In singles play, Gomes recorded a 6-0, 6-2 win over Steryous in the top-flighted match-up, and Julian Bradley bested Behal, 6-1, 6-2, at number four.  In the flight six match, Goldberg  beat Synn, 6-3, 6-3.  Matches at flights two, three, and five were unfinished.

Furman (2-13) will face VCU Sunday at 9 a.m. in the tournament’s final round.
