Cook batted .429 (6-for-14) with one triple, two RBIs and three runs in three games at the Upstate Classic last weekend. The sophomore hit safely in all three games with a pair of multi-hit games.

Cook was 3-for-5 with a run and a RBI in the Bucs’ 10-4 win over Pittsburgh on Sunday. He then went 2-for-5 with a triple and two runs in the 9-2 victory against USC Upstate later that day.

The native of Kingsport, Tenn. sports a 3.707 grade point average as a pre-business major.
