DAVIDSON, N.C. – Davidson head wrestling coach Bobby Patnesky has been appointed to the NCAA Wrestling Committee, as recently announced.

Patnesky, who became the second-winningest coach in Davidson wrestling history with a 22-18 win over Coker, will become one of the nine members that help to determine the rules for collegiate wrestling. His appointment runs through August 2019.

“It’s a tremendous honor to have been selected to the NCAA Wrestling Committee,” said Patnesky. “Wrestling has been a huge part of my life, and I look forward to contributing to the committee’s work. I’ll do my best to represent Davidson in the highest regard.”

The NCAA Wrestling Committee is made up of four Division I members, two Division II members, two Division III members and a secretary-rules editor.
