SPARTANBURG, S.C. – UNCG midfielder Leeroy Maguraushe has been named the Southern Conference men’s soccer player of the week for all competition Oct. 19-25. The selection is made by the league office.
Maguraushe scored two goals on the week as the Spartans topped Mercer and Wofford to move to the top of the SoCon standings.

The Milton Keynes, England, native leads UNCG and all SoCon freshmen with six goals on the year.
The weekly award is the second of his career. Maguraushe claimed the first award of the 2015 season on Sept. 1.
