GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Furman men’s cross country team is ranked 29th nationally, according to the Week 3 national rankings released Tuesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
The Paladins are nationally ranked this week for the first time since at least 1998 when the USTFCCCA archives began. Last Friday, Furman beat Iona and nearly beat Southeast Region leader Virginia at the Panorama Farms Invitational. This week Iona and Virginia are tied for 13th nationally.
Furman will compete at the Gene Mullin Invitational in Greenville, S.C., on October 11.
