Weather Alters Tuesday's Baseball Slate

Elon at High Point moved to Wednesday

ELON, N.C. – Fresh off of hosting the Elon Invitational, the Phoenix baseball team will now play its next five games away from Latham Park. That stretch begins on Wednesday with a 4 p.m. game at longtime rival High Point. The game was pushed back to Wednesday from Tuesday due to inclement weather.

 

The Citadel vs. Coastal Carolina postponed

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Due to the forecast of rain for most of the day in the Charleston area, The Citadel's baseball game against Coastal Carolina scheduled for Tuesday at Riley Park has been postponed.

The game will be made up on March 25 at 4 p.m. at Riley Park.

The game against Toledo on Wednesday at 4 p.m. is still on but is subject to continued rain in the area. Check The Citadel website or Facebook/Twitter pages for updates.

 

UNCG vs. Ohio canceled

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Due to inclement weather in the Triad area, Tuesday’s baseball nonconference game against Ohio has been canceled. The contest was originally scheduled for 4 p.m. at the UNCG Baseball Stadium.

A makeup date for the game has not been determined at this time.

Weather pending, the Spartans will host East Carolina on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the UNCG Baseball Stadium.
