BULGARIA – Furman senior Ingunn Gunnarsdottir tied for 20th in competition for the 2013 European Ladies’ Club Trophy, Sept. 26-28, at the St. Sofia Golf & Spa in Bulgaria.

Competing as a member of the GKG Golf Club, Gunnarsdottir (+13) carded an opening-round 76, registering a birdie on 16, then fired a 75 in the second round, with birdies on 6 & 16. Gunnarsdottir completed the tournament with a 75 in the final round, as well, to help GKG (+15) to an eighth-place overall team finish.

Gunnarsdottir, a native of Kopavogur, Iceland, currently ranks fourth on the Paladin team with a 77.3 stroke average this season after carding a low round of 75 in the opening day of the Lady Paladin Invitational on Sept. 20. She was named to the 2013 Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.
