Cotter kicked off the 2013 campaign with his fastest time ever at Moccasin Bend, his home course. The Memphis native took first place at the PowerAde Invitational with a time of 15:35, finishing eight seconds ahead of second-place finisher, All-American Eliud Rutto of MTSU.
