CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Seventeen Southern Conference student-athletes were among those honored by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association as All-American Scholars for 2012-13, the WGCA announced Monday.

Emily Brooks, Kathryn Buckingham, Martyna Mierzwa and Sunna Vidisdottir represented Elon as All-American Scholars, while Chattanooga’s selections were Emily McLennan, Isabella Loza, Jordan Britt and Mette Kryger.

For Furman, Aubrie Street, Laura Wearn and Valentina Romero were selected. Wofford had Alex Hendricks, Elizabeth Thompson and Maegan Higgins earn the distinction. Western Carolina’s Taylor Allison and Maria Kjelldorff and UNCG’s Courtney Taylor rounded out the SoCon selections to the team.
