Top 10 Plays:
No. 1: This windmill dunk by UNCG's Trevis Simpson is the top play of the 2012 SoCon Basketball Tournament! Simpson was the leading scorer in this 65-55 win with 17 points and nine rebounds.
No. 2: In the second OT period of last year's championships game, Davidson's Clint Mann found himself unguarded and drove the baseline and slammed in the final points of the night for a 93-91 lead with 1:04 to play.
No. 3: Samford's Shelby Campbell came off the bench in this semifinal matchup with the No.1 seed Davidson and led the Bulldogs with 24 points. She made eight of her 10 field goal attempts including three-for-four from three-point range. This win over the Wildcats propelled Samford to the championship game for the second year in a row.
No. 4: In the semifinal match-up against Samford, Davidson's Sophia Aleksandravicius had a stellar performance, scoring 13 points and pulling down nine rebounds.
No. 5: In the second overtime period of the men's championship game, Western Carolina's James Sinclair responded to a Davidson three with a three-ball of his own as the shot clock expired.
No. 6: Furman junior Teshia Griswold shot several three-pointers to help the Paladins get the 63-58 win over UNCG. Griswold contributed 14 points and four rebounds in the game.
No. 7: This play by Georgia Southern guard Mimi DuBose tied the game against Western Carolina at 45 with 14 seconds remaining, pushing the game into overtime.
No. 8: Appalachian State's Andre Williamson's slam helped contribute to the Mountaineer 39-32 lead over UNCG going into halftime of Game 5.
No. 9: UNCG's Natalie Headley fought hard to score in Game 3 of last year's tournament against Furman. She helped bring her team within three points of the Paladins.
No. 10: Elon's Lucas Troutman had a stellar performance in the semifinal match-up against eventual 2012 champions Davidson. Troutman chipped in 18 points and four rebounds in the game.
