SPARTANBURG, S.C. – With inclement weather in the forecast for the weekend, several Southern Conference baseball teams have adjusted their schedules.

The Furman/Samford and Wofford/UNCG series have both been shortened to two days with doubleheaders Friday and single games Saturday.

Furman and Samford will now play a Friday doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m. at Latham Stadium, with Saturday’s series finale set for 4 p.m.

Wofford and UNCG will begin with a doubleheader on Friday starting at 4:30 p.m. at Russell C. King Field. On Saturday, the two teams will play a single game at 3 p.m.

In addition, The Citadel’s Friday contest with Charleston Southern at Riley Park has been moved up two hours to a 4 p.m. start.

College of Charleston’s Friday baseball game against Appalachian State has also been moved up two hours to 4 p.m.
