Gregory earned her first Offensive Player of the Week award after helping Furman go 2-0 last week. She hit .611 and put up 23 kills on 36 attacks to average 3.83 kills per set in Paladin sweeps of Wofford and Davidson to give Furman to 7-1 record in SoCon action. The freshman totaled 14 kills in 20 attempts with no errors against Wofford to notch a .700 hitting percentage. She then turned in a -kill performance, hitting .500 and adding two block assists and six block assists in Furman’s win over Davidson. Gregory currently ranks fifth in the SoCon in hitting percentage at .343.

Ross won Defensive Player of the Week honors for the second time in 2013 after averaging six digs per set in two matches last week. The senior libero posted 18 digs in Furman’s 3-0 victory over Wofford on Wednesday. Ross came back with an 18-dig performance against Davidson to give the Paladin’s a 3-0 win. She was also named the league’s Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 7.

Greenwald received her first Freshman of the Week honor after helping Samford pick up two wins over the weekend. She posted 12 kills to power the Bulldogs 3-0 win over Elon on Friday. Greenwald tied a career-high 13 kills as Samford defeated UNCG 3-0, finishing the weekend with 25 kills on 50 attempts. She posted a .440 hitting percentage and averaged 4.17 kills per set. She was second on the team in kills, blocks and hitting percentage, and her .478 hitting percentage against UNCG is the second highest by any Samford player in SoCon play this season.
