Mosteller Named Athlete of the Week

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Furman’s Brooke Mosteller has been named the Southern Conference’s Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week for her performance over the weekend. The selections are made by the league’s track and field coaches.

The senior set a new personal record and broke the school record in the 3,000m steeple chase with a time of 10:50.77 at the Furman Invitational. 

With the performance, Mosteller sits in first place in the event heading into the conference championship. 

The Southern Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship will be held in Cullowhee, N.C. on April 21-22.
