SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Appalachian State’s AJ Dohanic and Samford’s Michael Seaman have been named the Southern Conference’s Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week for meets over last weekend. The selections are made by the league’s track and field coaches.
Dohanic finished fourth in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.24 at the South Carolina Weems-Baskin Meet in Columbia, S.C. With his time, the senior now leads the SoCon in the event. The senior won the 60m hurdle title at the conference indoor championship last month.
Seaman took a conference lead at the Alabama Relays with a 5.20m (17’ 0.5”) mark in the pole vault. The Bardstown, Ky., native won the event’s title at the indoor championship.
