SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Appalachian State junior Yue Xu has been selected as the Southern Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for all competition from March 21-27.
Xu led ASU to a second-straight Low Country Intercollegiate title with a third-place finish at the event in Hilton Head Island, S.C. The junior from Beijing, China carded a 77-75=152 (+8) to pace the Mountaineers, who claimed a two-shot victory over Radford in the 15-team tournament.
Other Nominees: Blaire Minter (Western Carolina) and Alex Hendricks (Wofford).
