LOUISVILLE, Tenn. - Collegiate Apps, a Premier Mobile Concepts, Inc. solution, announced today that it has partnered with the Southern Conference to provide a mobile application to serve attendees of the upcoming SoCon basketball championships event in Asheville, North Carolina.

"We are excited to provide the Southern Conference with an event-driven mobile app that will highly engage and assist tournament attendees," said Kevin Carver, Collegiate Apps' Vice President of Sales and Marketing. App content will include general championship information and updates, team rosters and photos, event schedules, and will feature an interactive Asheville visitor's guide to area accommodations, dining, attractions, and more.

"It allows us to put a SoCon Championships event compass in the purses and pockets of all participants and attendees".

The Asheville-Buncombe Regional Sports Commission is also participating in the project. Asheville hotels, restaurants, attractions and other merchants will have the opportunity to provide attendees with location-based GPS directions to their locations, offer special promotions, and even make mobile coupons available for instant redemption.
