Despite Armstrong's heroics, Samford received some clutch offensive performances of its own from Windler, Jeffrey Merritt and Tyler Hood.

The Bulldogs' senior team captain from Oklahoma City, Okla., shot 5-of-8 from the floor, knocked down all five of his field-goal attempts and added three assists, a block and a steal.
