About the Championship
The 2015 Southern Conference Women's Golf Championship will be held on Sunday, April 12, through Tuesday, April 14, at the Savannah Quarters Golf Club in Pooler, Ga. This will be the 22nd annual Southern Conference Women's Golf Championship. The conference's team champion will advance to an NCAA Regional.
Chattanooga won the conference's 2014 NCAA Regional automatic bid with its fifth consecutive conference tournament win. The Mocs' Emily McLennan was the individual medalist, turning a three-day total of 6-over 222 to earn the four-stroke win over Furman’s Taylor Totland (76-74-76=226), who was named the SoCon Freshman of the Year at the conclusion of the event.
Chattanooga's Jordan Britt, who was named Player of the Year, came in third with a score of 229.
