2012 Southern Conference Baseball Championship May 23-27 l Fluor Field l Greenville, S.C. l Hosted by: The SoCon & Furman University

			About the Championship The 2012 Southern Conference Baseball Championship will take place at Flour Field in Greenville, S.C. on Wednesday, May 23^rd through Sunday, May 27^th. The Greenville Drive along with Furman University will be hosting the event. This will be the 29^th annual Southern Conference Baseball Championship. Chris Beck pitched a complete-game, three hit shutout to lead No. 4 seed Georgia Southern over No. 3 seed Samford, 1-0, in the championship game of the 2011 Southern Conference Baseball Championship. Beck was named the tournament Most Outstanding Player. The Eagles claimed the conference's automatic bid to the 2011 NCAA tournament.
