SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Appalachian State senior Dennis Moore has been named Southern Conference Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week for his performances for at the High Point VerKlasse meet over the weekend of April 8-10.  The selections are made by the league's track and field coaches.

Hudgins, a senior from Rock Hill, S.C., placed second in the 800m over the weekend with a season-best time of 1:51.43.  Heading into the Southern Conference Championship this weekend in Birmingham, Ala., Hudgins leads the conference in both the 800m and 1,500m.
