The Blue Hose continued to fight in the last two matches. Sprouse and Mills were able to beat Wofford's Schecter and Tom Wood to end the match with a 4-3 finish. "Presbyterian played us tough today," commented Coach Ray after the match. "I'm impressed with their spirit and determination and know firsthand that they have a good team. We needed to experience a match like this to grow. Without a doubt, we are turning a corner with several good things happening today."
