SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Appalachian State junior Austin Trotman has been named Southern Conference Wrestler of the Week for all competitions from February 9-15.
Trotman collected two wins last week as the Mountaineers earned a 26-9 win over SoCon foe VMI before losing to Virginia, 31-8. He had no problem taking care of VMI's John Dommert, earning his team-leading 10th major decision, 16-7, on Friday evening.
