Five Southern Conference women's soccer players were honored by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) this week with all-region honors.

College of Charleston was the only SoCon school to place multiple players on the squad as midfielder Sarah Schaidle was tabbed to the All-Southeast second team and teammate Hannah Gmerek, a defender, was added to the third team as a defender.

Furman forward Rachel Shelnutt, the 2011 SoCon Player of the Year, was a second-team selection as well.

Joining the list on the All-Southeast team was Elon defender Olivia Mackey while Davidson forward Becca Fisher, the conference's Freshman of the Year this season, was placed on the All-South third team.
