Furman's Women Cross Country Ranked Tenth in Southeast

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Furman women's cross country team is ranked tenth in the Southeast Region, according to the week four regional rankings released Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).  

The Paladins rose one place in the rankings following a second place finish last week at the Charlotte Invitational.  North Carolina moved into the lead in the Southeast Region rankings, following a three-week hold on the top spot by Duke.  Virginia, Clemson, Duke, and Virginia Tech round out the top five teams in the Southeast Region poll.  

The Paladins will compete at the Furman Invitational on Saturday, October 8.
