SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Furman senior Lee Gilmer has been honored the Southern Conference Men’s Runner of the Week, the league office announced today.

The Mobile, Ala., native paced the Paladins at the Gene Mullin Furman Invitational.  Gilmer finished the 8K course in fifth place with a time of 26:53.

The Paladins finished second out of 12 teams at the invitational and will compete again at the Blue Ridge Open in Boone, N.C. on Oct. 14.
