SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Chattanooga's Anneli Uys has been honored as the women's Southern Conference Runner of the Week for her performance during the weekend of September 10-11, the league office announced today.

The senior from Somerville, Australia finished the two-mile course with a time of 11:24.  Uys placed second overall to led the Lady Mocs to first place finish to begin the season at the PowerAde Invitational hosted by the Chattanooga Track Club.

Chattanooga's next meet is set for Sept. 18, at the Commodore Classic in Nashville, Tenn.
