ATLANTA, Ga. -- Elon freshman Alex Swim was selected to the 2010 All-Atlanta Regional Team after his performance in his first-ever NCAA Tournament.  
 
In Elon's two games, Swim hit .333 with a run scored, a double, homer and six RBI.  The Greensboro, N.C. native went 1-for-4 with a double against Alabama before posting a 2-for-5 game versus Mercer.  In that game with the Bears, Swim drilled his first career grand slam which was just his second home run of the season.  His six-RBI performance in that game was a personal-best.
 
For the year, Swim hit .310 with 41 runs scored, 13 doubles, a triple, two homers, 40 RBI and four stolen bases.  He appeared in 59 games, making 52 starts.
 
The Phoenix finished its 2010 campaign with an overall record of 38-24.
