Southern Conference Softball Championship Bracket

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The bracket for the 2010 Southern Conference Softball Championship has been finalized, as announced by the league office Monday.

Game one gets underway Thursday at 11 a.m., with No. 2 Elon (35-19, 15-9 SoCon) taking on No. 3 Georgia Southern (29-24, 14-9 SoCon). Regular season champion and No. 1-seeded Chattanooga (39-15, 19-5 SoCon) faces No. 4 UNC Greensboro (25-28, 12-11 SoCon) at 1:30 p.m. in game two. The losers of games one and two will meet in game three, which is scheduled for Thursday at 5 p.m. The winners will play at 7:30 p.m., with a spot in the championship game on the line

Friday begins with the winner of game three taking on the loser of game four at 11 a.m. The winner of that game will meet the winner of game four in the championship game, which is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.

The championship is a double-elimination tournament. All game times are Eastern Standard and subject to change.
