The sophomore shortstop from Advance, N.C., is majoring in marketing and has a 3.26 GPA.

Rembielak registered a hit in all four of the Mountaineers' games last week, including three contests with multiple hits. She is currently on a 10-game hitting streak and has a .528 average during that stretch.

Against Virginia Tech, Rembielak went 2-for-4 and scored two runs. Her two-RBI single in the sixth inning tied the game as Appalachian State went on to win 7-5.

In the Mountaineers' 3-2 victory versus conference-foe UNC Greensboro, Rembielak hit .500, scoring a run and stealing a base.

Also nominated this week was UNC Greensboro softball player Laura Olenderski.
