CHARLESTON, S.C. - Andrew Goudelock was named to the CollegeInsider.com 2010 Lou Henson All-America team, it was announced this week.
The Lou Henson All-America team is named after former Illinois and New Mexico head Coach Lou Henson and honors 30 players from NCAA Division I mid-major schools.
Goudelock led the Cougars in scoring and was second in the Southern Conference with 19.4 points per game. He became just the third player in CofC history to score over 1,000 points in two seasons and with 1,694, he is Charleston's Division I scoring leader.
An All-Conference and All-Tournament selection, Goudelock posted 28 consecutive double-figure scoring games, including a 27-point performance in the Cougars' 96-69 win over Chattanooga in the Southern Conference Tournament Quarterfinals. He nailed a career-high seven three-pointers in that contest. The junior led the team in assists with 3.9 a game and recently moved into CofC's career top-10.
Wofford's Noah Dahlman and The Citadel's Cameron Wells were the other selections out of the Southern Conference.
Goudelock is now eligible for the Henson Player-of-the-Year award to be announced Friday in Indianapolis, Ind.
