Opening statement ... "I applaud Greensboro's effort and their teams play in here today. We weren't great, but as I told our team, the only thing that mattered to me walking in was winning the basketball game. Win the game and we did that. We are tickled to death to be in the Southern Conference Semifinals, and we will come in tomorrow ready to play."

On preparing for Western Carolina ... "I wish it was somebody we had played of late. I know their personnel and I know Larry Hunter is one of the best. But we haven't played them since December. Love their personnel. I think it will be a great basketball game."

Junior Forward Noah Dahlman
On tournament play ... "Tournament play is so much different than the regular season. Everything is turned up a notch. Defensively, you guard harder, and it's more difficult to make cuts. Just 'cause we have played them three times this season, they know our sets by heart. That's probably why we didn't close them out like we did in the regular season."

Senior Guard Junior Salters
On today's crowd (4,086 session att.) ... "I think it helped immensely, with it being a new environment for us. I think we were all bright-eyed at the beginning of the game. I think the crowd really helped in the second half."

Opening statement ..."It was a good game. They are a good team. They may have been a little rusty off the week but we played last night and were a little short handed. Brian Cole who played well last night not being able to play tonight that didn't help us but at the same time the players that we had played really hard. We were trying to because of our numbers play a little slower pace and we had a hard time with that because they ran it at us so well. Their defense is good. They play hard and they have quickness. We are proud of our seniors who played so hard."

On the effort from Kyle Randall  ... "He's become a good guard in this league. Kyle was sick earlier in the year and lost a lot of weight and had a chance to gain weight. He'll get bigger and stronger in the off season. He has really had to tackle a lot of really good guards with Brad Loesing being one of them. He's grown up a lot and matured. He's going to be one of the better guards in this league as he gets older and stronger."

On this season's reflection... "The younger guys have a tremendous amount of experience and maybe more than just one season because of who we have played and how much they played. They have a lot of experience. Playing the schedule that we do we'll grow up. We need to recruit well. We've signed some guys early and we have some more to do this spring. This league is good and is also young."
