Opening statement ... "The last thing we said in the locker room was Furman had the advantage. They already played a game and had yesterday off to prepare for us today means they had all that practice jitters out and the tournament jitters out. We were doing that for 30 minutes, or about 25 with 15 minutes of good basketball. No matter how much you try and scrimmage, it's not the same as when you walk out on that court for the first time with your fans here and Furman's fans here realizing when you're done, you are done. This is our tournament debut and tomorrow you'll see a much better executed game."

On not shooting free throws mostly until end of game ... "It's just putting the right people at the line at the end of the game. During the course of the game, I can't choose if they foul. At the end of the game, you dictate whose hands you put it in. I think you saw it with our whole team. Sometimes we're really bad and sometimes we're really good, but at the end to seal the deal like that was obviously very good."

On the team's performance ... "We were definitely struggling in the first half. It did not look like us at all. It's tournament time, and we started out slow and had to pick it up."

On Anna Freeman's importance ... "Anna is definitely the spark of this team. She's a big leader on the court and a real hard player. There hasn't been a game all season where she hasn't given it her all. She's a big part of the heart behind this team. We need her in this tournament."
