On today's game ... "It is a tough way to lose, you know, the old adage is how hard it is to beat a team for the third time. I think that snuck in there and bit us tonight. When we got to be up by 15 we began to play, How do we keep this lead, instead of to take the lead and continue to lead the game."

On the end of the season ... "I hate it for my seniors. I had three really good seniors. It's good for everyone in that locker room to see their pain; and to see that every game and say 'Hey, I've gotta play hard because these four years will be gone in a hurry'."

On giving up the lead ... ""I can't take anything away from Furman, I felt that they were well-prepared. They came in and fought, fought and fought. They never laid down. Some teams down by 15 would lay down.  This has been going on all year long. All year long we've been so inconsistent. And earlier in the year I'd say it's our youth, but this time of the year, it's not."

On the team's performance ... "I thought our kids played really hard for 40 minutes.  Davidson is a tough team.  They fight and they scrap and they are really good shooters.  I just thought we just stuck to the game plan and kept working and kept fighting.  It was a really good game for us."

Down 15 in the second half, what was your message to the team ... "It's a long game...just keep fighting...keep doing the little things...keep trying to execute...take away the threes.  I think those are the things we really tried to do and we rebounded the basketball which was huge."

On Lee Stephens ... "Lee's a very, very good player.  She's a little bit more than just a shooter...she's got some scrap and fight about her.  She's the heart and soul of our team."

On the win ... "This game is huge for us.  This will be the longest we've stayed at the tournament because we play on Saturday since I've been here.  Davidson is an awesome team.  They compete really hard so to beat somebody like them means a lot to us."

Down 15, what was the mood in the huddle, what was the message from Coach Dixon ... "Basically everyone was saying don't give up...keep playing hard.  We've come back from being down a lot in the last couple of minutes this year.  We've just come up short.  This time we didn't come up short."
