You started out strong today and got a big win ... "I thought our girls really fought hard today against a team that tried to come back in the second half, and I'm just very proud of them and how they responded after the second time out. They really executed and defense won it tonight, it was team effort."

You got the upset of sorts 10 over 7 and advance to the next round ... "We're just here to play. We're excited to be here to play, and we're taking one possession at a time and having fun. It's a great environment and we're excited."

You mentioned the timeout what was that like after Wofford closed to within three? Was there no panic? ... "Exactly. It was more of a no panic and we actually switched defenses that really worked.  We got into an offensive rhythm, just set screens and moved the ball around and got good shots."

On the team's performance ... "We came out with a lot of adrenaline and a lot of excitement, and I think we just rushed our shots a little bit. Because of that, we couldn't get into a rhythm early in the game and that caused us to fall behind. But you have to give credit to Elon. They played a great game. We played a great second half, but in a tournament game, you can't dig yourself a hole like that.

"I thought when we cut it to three that we used every ounce of energy that we had to get to that point. We just got worn out.

"I'm still very proud of my basketball team. I think we fought very hard in the second half and we just came up short."

On the key to getting back into the game ... "We were relaxing on our shots. We were really taking our time, getting good looks at the basket, and we were knocking them down. We were doing the things that made us successful. But they made some big threes and stretched the lead back out."

On Ali Ford ... "Well, she's the Freshman of the Year, and when we cut it to three, she hit a big three to give them the momentum."
